Kenneth Walter Geiser

Kenneth Walter Geiser, 93, of Murrysville, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2024, at Redstone Highlands in Murrysville. He was born February 12, 1931, in Brooklyn, New York, son of the late Rudolph and Florence (Stewart) Geiser. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Patricia Geiser, his son Christopher Geiser and his sister Lorraine Sheerin.

Ken received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Pratt Institute in New York. Over the course of his career in engineering sales, Ken traveled to many interesting places around the world. Ken enjoyed sailing, salsa making and woodworking. Ken was involved at Mother of Sorrows Catholic School and Church. He ran the Young Astronaut Program at the school and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Pastoral Council. Ken was also a member of the Rotary Club of Murrysville.

Ken is survived by his niece Catherine (Jeffrey) Trunk, nephew Peter (Barbara) and Thomas (Jeannine) Sheerin and grandson Alexander Geiser. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville. Entrusted with arrangements is Hart Funeral Home, Inc.
