Kenneth B. Steinbrugge

Kenneth B. Steinbruegge, 83, of Murrysville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023, at Forbes Hospital. He was born Dec. 9, 1939, in St. Louis, Mo., son of the late Theodore and Ruth Steinbruegge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Eileen "Kelly" Steinbruegge, and his second wife, Norma (Postich) Steinbruegge; a brother, Harold Steinbruegge; and a sister, Marsha Steinbruegge.

He graduated from the University of Rolla with a master's degree in physics and chemistry, later retiring from Westinghouse as an engineer. After retirement, he was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Murrysville. In his spare time, he enjoyed his time at his farm in Allegheny County, as well as spending his time with his family and grandchildren.

Ken is survived by six children, Terri Steinbruegge, Todd (Maureen) Reutzel, Michael (Linda) Reutzel, Steven Steinbruegge, Eric (Mary) Reutzel and Craig (Shannon) Steinbruegge; nine grandchildren, Emily (Anthony Bettile) Reutzel, Meghan (Matt) Waddingham, Michael (Stephanie Willey) Reutzel, Jackson, Grace, Colby, and Athena Steinbruegge, Jacob and Samuel Reutzel; a great-granddaughter, Chloe Pethtel; and a sister-in-law, Joanne Steinbruegge Gray.
