Our hearts go out to you and your entire family Karen. We all loved Kevin so much and we are all still in shock. You and your entire family have always been an important part of our lives for so many years. You guys are family to us. I will miss Kevin dearly, he was a great, loving, caring and loyal friend and I loved him dearly. I could always count on you guys to show up at gigs if I was even remotely close to where you were. I loved that! I miss the jams as well that you both loved so much. This is all so crazy...... I don't really have the words. Love you! Frank and Family

I only met Kevin a few times as a member of my roleplaying group, but I could tell immediately he had a love of life and a spirit far beyond his years. May his memory be a blessing.

The San Fernando Valley Historical Society and all our members send heartfelt condolences to the MacKelvie family and friends on this very sad news. We so appreciated Kevin’s community spirit, as he sang patriotic songs at our Pioneer Cemetery’s Memorial Day event in Sylmar, California for several years until he relocated to Pennsylvania. His sunshine approach to life and bright laughter will be deeply missed. Sending a photo of Kevin from Memorial Day 2018 for your comfort.
