Leonard Di Naples, of Murrysville, a devoted father, grandfather, husband, and proud veteran, passed away on Saturday March 8, 2025, at the age of 82. Leonard’s life was a testament to his love for family, his dedication to his country, and his passion for the things he cherished. He will be deeply missed by everyone that had the honor of knowing him.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, on September 30, 1942, Leonard was raised in Little Silver, NJ,
before moving to Pittsburgh, PA, where he became a successful entrepreneur.
Throughout his life, Leonard’s family was always his greatest source of joy. He leaves
behind his wife, Donna (Grimes) Di Naples; two sons, Brett (Julie) Di Naples, Bo
(Amanda) Di Naples; a daughter, Jennifer (Bobby); five grandchildren, Micaela,
Christian, Cole, Caden, Charlotte; a great granddaughter, Karsyn; a twin sister,
Margaret "Peg" Rizzo; and a nephew, George Rizzo. Len is preceded in death by parents
Ralph and Margaret (Donaldson) Di Naples, and his son, Leonard Di Naples Jr. He also
loved his canine companions, Bella and Luca.
Len had many passions including a love of classic cars and sports memorabilia. He
loved spending time in Clearwater, FL and enjoying sunsets at the beach. He served in
the National Guard and was an active member of the American Legion Post 711. Len
was a driving force behind the revitalization of Haymaker Field. He loved coaching Little
League, inspiring countless young athletes with his guidance and support.
A celebration of Len’s life will be held on Saturday April 12, 2025, at the Italian American
Club in Export, PA, from 4pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be
