Linda L. Kurimsky, 81, of Murrysville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Bernard Kurimsky; cherished daughter of the late John S. Ross and Lois I. Ross; loving mother of Kurtis (Mariana) Kurimsky and Kevin (Tarah) Kurimsky; and proud grandmother of Kamryn, Kendyl, Kaydence, and Jack Kurimsky.
Linda dedicated part of her life to education as a Home Economics teacher at Franklin Regional, where she shared her love of creativity and practical skills with countless students. She later worked at Minnesota Fabrics, a role that perfectly fit her passion for sewing. Her talents as a seamstress were well-known throughout Murrysville, as she lovingly created and tailored clothing for family, friends, and neighbors in the community.
Above all, Linda's greatest joy was her family. She rarely missed a sporting event, proudly sitting in the stands with a camcorder in hand, capturing every moment of her children's games. Her presence, encouragement, and unwavering support left a lasting impression not only on her family, but on everyone who knew her. One of her proudest titles was being the best "Grammy" to her four grandchildren.
Linda was also a longtime member of Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Murrysville, where she found strength and community in her faith.
She will be remembered for her kindness, her creativity, her classy sense of humor, and the deep love she poured into her family and friends.
Visitation for Linda will be on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Hart Funeral Home Inc., in Murrysville. A Blessing Service for Linda will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
