Lois A. (Alwine) Visalli

Lois A. Visalli, 80, of Murrysville, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at her home. She was born July 9, 1942, in Johnstown, PA, daughter of the late Charles and Sara Gallagher Alwine.

Lois was co-owner and manager of Infinity Records in the Murrysville area in the early 1980’s, where she ran a tight ship.  Afterward, she spent 20 years in her most rewarding endeavor as a volunteer at Murray Manor, helping others.  Lois was fortunate to have visited all 50 states at a young age and traveled abroad to Australia, Tahiti, Italy, France, Monaco, Bermuda, and nearly every Caribbean Island on multiple cruise vacations.  Trips to Vegas and Atlantic City were plentiful as well as to the exotic Plum Fire Hall for weekly Bingo with her crew of loyal friends.  She spent more than 30 years traveling to Lake Raystown to entertain family and friends on her houseboat.  She golfed, fished and bowled for many years in the Mother of Sorrows bowling league.  In her later years she became a “snowbird”, spending her winters in Tarpon Springs, Florida where she made even more, older friends.  Lois loved all her pets, especially Willy, a yorkie who was just as feisty as she was. She enjoyed life to the fullest.

Lois is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” G. Visalli; three sons, Robert J. (Melissa) Visalli, Jeff W. (Ann) Visalli, Greg C. (Juliet) Visalli; four grandchildren, Kelsea (Alex) Bettag, Joseph, Jacob and Abigail Visalli; numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a local hospice.
