Lucy Mae (Chiarella) Fulcher

Lucy Mae Fulcher, 94, of Murrysville, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Brookdale Murrysville Senior Living. She was born June 3,1929, in Newark, NJ, daughter of the late Pasquale and Teresa (Giordano) Chiarella. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Alfred Fulcher; a son, John K. Fulcher; a daughter-in-law, Jean Fulcher; a sister and brother-in-law, Philomena and Irving Berman; a sister-in-law, Barbara Chiarella; and a granddaughter, Alisa Fulcher.

In her younger years, she was a telephone operator and supervisor. As her children grew up, she was a playground monitor at Sloan Elementary. Lucy enjoyed reading and listening to music. She was a member of Mother of Sorrows Parish.

Lucy will be missed by three children Richard A. (Pat) Fulcher of Charleston, WV, Mark R. (Lina) Fulcher of South Elgin, IL, Mary Lou (Steve) Focht of Tumwater, WA, daughter-in-law Becky Fulcher (John) of Findlay, OH, 13 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, a sister Eleanor Carroll and brother Daniel Chiarella. Entrusted with arrangements is Hart Funeral Home, Inc., Murrysville. A Funeral Mass will be held  Monday, July 22, 2024, at Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville.
