Marian S. (Smith) Comfry

Marian S. Comfry 93, of Murrysville passed away peacefully on Friday, November 19, 2021.  She was born July 31, 1928 in North Braddock, Pa., daughter of the late Henry and Emma Seitz Smith.  In addition to her parents, Marian was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Legin; and a son-in-law, George Full Jr.  Marian was a longtime member of Denmark Manor United Church of Christ, where she served on various committees.  She volunteered for Meals on Wheels.  She was a past Worthy Matron of The Order of the Eastern Star, and past secretary of the Daughters of the Nile.  Marian was also a member of the Murrysville Garden Club.  She is survived by three children, Lynn Full of Murrysville, Lee Ann Comfry Stewart (Jack) of Columbia, MD, and Craig (Kari) Comfry of Enfield, CT;  two grandchildren, Amber Comfry and Jeremy Comfry; and a nephew, Joel (Janice) Legin.  She is also survived by two great-nieces.  Visitation Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville.  A committal service will be held on Monday in the Chapel/ Mausoleum at 11 a.m. in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children at https://lovetotherescue.org in Marian’s name.
