Mark D. Vochinsky

Mark D. Vochinsky, 62, of Harrison City (formerly of Murrysville), died Wednesday, March 22, 2023 in Elkins, West Virginia. He was born February 4, 1961, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Donald and Lois Epling Vochinsky. He was a graduate of Franklin Regional High School. For many years he operated his own landscaping business among a variety of other jobs. His contributions as a community volunteer included working as an emergency medical technician and coaching youth softball.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Todd Vochinsky. Mark is survived by his brother, Erik, and sister Lynn Wise of Christiansburg, VA and his nephew, Alan.  Mark was an avid outdoorsman, happiest when he was fishing. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, and cooking and loved watching the Steelers and the Penguins.  Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 30th at the Hart Funeral Home with a service following at 2 p.m.  A private interment will follow at the Murrysville Cemetery.
