Mary L. Platte

Mary L. Platte, 96, of Penn Twp, formerly of Murrysville, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022, at UPMC East, Monroeville. She was born September 26, 1925, in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Vincent and Anna C. McDonough. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers, Paul, Robert “Bob”, George, and Vincent “Babe” Platte; a sister, Anna "Sis" Mitchell; and a niece, Anna Nickel. Mary will be dearly missed by a niece, Jeanne (Gary) Sliman; two great-nephews, Michael and Steven Sliman; and a great-niece, Emily Nickel. Visitation is from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., Murrysville. Parting Prayers will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville. Interment will follow at Mt.
