Michael R. Bache

Michael R. "Mickey" Bache, 92, of Murrysville, passed away Monday, August 26, 2024, at his home. He was born November 29, 1931, in North Braddock, son of the late Michael and Mary (Yaniga) Bache. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Donna (Young) Bache; a special friend and companion, Marcia Gorondy; five siblings, Alberta (Edward) Katnik, Ella Mae (Harry) Sparrow, Elmer (Madeline) Bache, Madeline (Aneil "Sonny") Burelli, Cecilia Bache. 

Mickey was always either out on the golf links or at the 'club' having a beer (or Beefeater Martini) rooting for Pittsburgh sports. A veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Stephen Byzantine Catholic Church of North Huntington.

Michael is survived by his son, Michael D. (Brenda) Bache; two granddaughters, Leigh (Robert) Bache, Abigail (Alex) Jones; numerous nieces and nephews. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Stephen Byzantine Catholic Church, 90 Bethel Road, North Huntington, PA 15642. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., 3103 Lillian Avenue, Murrysville, PA, 15668.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 30, 2024, at St. Stephen Byzantine Catholic Church, North Huntingdon, PA 15642.
