Michael Mastorovich, 91, of Pittsburgh, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022. He was born April 3, 1931, in Adderly, PA, son of the late Milan and Mary Benzetich Mastorovich. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant brother, George Mastorovich and 10 additional siblings, Merco (Ann) Mastorovich, Thomas (Angie) Mastorovich, Steve (Betty) Mastorovich, Danitza (Clarence) McNelly, Anna (Robert) Watt, Martha (Forest) Sunderland, John Mastorovich, Samuel (Josephine) Mastorovich, Mildred (James) Romanelli and Betty (Paul) Hreha; a brother-in-law, John Vukelich.
He was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean Conflict. He was very involved in church and was an Elder at Manchester Reformed Presbyterian Church of New Kensington and after retiring, he was a member of Covenant Fellowship Reformed Presbyterian Church of Wilkinsburg. Prior to retirement, he was an electrical technician for Westinghouse.
Michael is survived by his wife, Elsie Harrington Mastorovich; three children, Michael L. (Candace) Mastorovich, Melissa L. Mastorovich and Matthew A. (Elizabeth) Mastorovich; four grandchildren, Molly (Michael) O’Donnell, Matthew, Morgan and John Mastorovich; numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a sister, Mary Vukelich; and a sister-in-law, Patricia Mastorovich.
Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., Murrysville. A Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. Everyone is invited to join the family for a luncheon at Murrysville Community Church on School Road.
