Michael Paul Pajak

Michael Paul Pajak, 73, of Export, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025, at UPMC East, Monroeville. He was born April 30, 1951, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Ferdinand and Laura (Zychowski) Pajak. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra "Sandy" (May) Pajak; his daughter, Kimberly Pajak; and his sister, Joanne Graff. 

Mike had a long successful career as an engineer with Westinghouse EMD, before they changed to Curtiss-Wright, where he eventually retired. He put himself through college taking classes at night while working during the day, to obtain his engineering degree.

Mike’s world revolved around his beloved wife of 47 years … they were inseparable.  

Together they enjoyed camping, playing cards, and dominoes with friends and family.  Mike and Sandy also loved nature and wildlife, short little adventures, and spending time binge watching their favorite shows. Mike was also a fan of Pittsburgh sports and the occasional jigsaw puzzle.

Mike is survived by his son, Christopher Pajak; his brother, Fred (Darlene) Pajak; brother-in-law, Daniel Graff; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, or to the charity of one's choice. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2025, at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., Murrysville. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the funeral home.
