Mitsie M. (McMahon) Szostak

Mitsie M. Szostak, 74, of Export, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021 at her home. She was born May 14, 1947 in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late John and Harriet Long McMahon. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her step parents (aunt and uncle), Flossie and Ed Sanford. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Delmont and worked as a Dental Assistant for Dr. James West in Wilkinsburg. She loved volunteering at nursing homes in Oakmont where she became good friends with many residents there. Mitsie will be missed by her beloved husband of almost 46 years, Robert A. "Bob" Szostak and many dear friends. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc. Murrysville. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Twin Valley Memorial Park.
