Norma (Hanlin) Hite

Norma H. Hite, 96, of Cabot, Pennsylvania, formerly of Murrysville, passed away peacefully July 5, 2026, at Concordia at Cabot.  She was born September 10, 1929, in Gormania, Maryland, a daughter of the late Thomas G. and Edna H. (Shaffer) Hanlin.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Perry J. Hite Sr.; her daughter, Donna J. Kuzma; her two sons, Perry J. Hite Jr. and Wesley R. Hite; a granddaughter, Athena Oglesby; a grandson, Scott Oglesby; and her four brothers, Delbert Hanlin, Kenneth Leon Hanlin, Lloyd W. Hanlin, and Glenn Lee Hanlin.

She is survived by her daughter, Colette L. Hite; a grandson, Michael (Danielle) Hite; a granddaughter, Chantelle (Troy) Todd; her great-grandchildren, Alexis Oglesby, Hunter Hite, Ashley (Joshua) Glaser, Sera Todd, Emma Todd, Hope Todd, and Kaleb Todd; her half-brother, W. Thomas Hanlin II; and her daughters-in-law, Janet Hite and Colleen Hite.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Murrysville at 11:00 a.m. (everyone please meet at the church), followed by interment at Twin Valley Memorial Park in Delmont.

Norma was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, and her family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Calvary Lutheran Church, 4725 Old William Penn Highway, Murrysville, PA, 15668, in Norma’s name.
