Patricia A. (Smart) Perini

Patricia Perini, 83, of Murrysville, PA passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 14, 2023. Formerly of Belle Harbor, NY she moved to Murrysville after retiring in 2005 to be near her family. Pat was born August 30, 1940, in New York, the daughter of the late William and May Smart (nee Taylor). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother William Smart.

She attended Richmond Hill High School and State University of New York – New Paltz. Pat worked for more than 30 years at Macy’s in Brooklyn, NY where she was a counter manager in the cosmetics and fragrances department. Pat was a devout Christian and a member of the Murrysville Alliance Church. Her true passion was her family, especially her grandchildren and great granddaughter. She volunteered at her church and was a member of the Murrysville Emergency Shelter Team. Pat loved being at the beach and spending time at Trout Lake in the Adirondack Mountains. She was an avid Pittsburgh Penguin fan, enjoyed her bible study group at Murrysville Alliance, and loved to be in the garden and bake. She also enjoyed traveling, especially to Canada, Ireland, and to see her family in New York and Florida.

She is survived by her loving children, Patricia (Kevin) Pelino of Irwin, PA, Christopher (Susan) Perini of Naples, FL, and Brendon (Eileen) Perini of East Rockaway, NY; and cherished grandchildren, Christopher (Kaitlyn) Perini, Thomas Perini, Michael (Alexandra) Pelino, Liam Perini, and Siobhan Perini and great granddaughter, Anna Pelino. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Murrysville Alliance Church, 4130 Old William Penn Hwy, Murrysville PA 15668. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 18, 2023, at Murrysville Alliance Church.
