Patricia F. Walko

Patricia F. Walko, 84, of Murrysville, passed away, March 4, 2023. She was born September 12, 1938, in Wilkinsburg, daughter of the late Harold and Edythe Gallery Fundis.

Pat most enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and golfing with her friends at Edgewood Country Club. Prior to retirement, she was a registered nurse for The Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. She helped grow the family business, Murrysville and Holiday Park Pharmacies. Pat enjoyed attending events with the Murrysville-Export Rotary club with husband Jim and was a Paul Harris Fellow. She was also a member of Mother of Sorrows Parish, and an early member of the Murrysville Nurses Club and Murrysville Women’s Club.

Pat will be missed by her husband of 63 years, James D. Walko; three children, Lori (Ronald) Bartolotta of Export, PA, James R. (Bonnie) Walko of Cary, NC, and Susan (Hunter) Young of Roanoke, VA; five grandchildren, Anthony, Zachary and Andrea Bartolotta, and Danielle and Nicole Walko; and a brother, Hal (Frankie) Fundis.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., Murrysville. Parting Prayers will be on Wednesday, March 8 at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at Mother of Sorrows Parish, Murrysville.
