Paul Joseph Oris

Paul Joseph (PJ) Oris, 64, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Murrysville, passed away Monday, July 8, 2024, at his home. He was born July 16, 1959, in Ellwood City, PA, son of the late John and Bernadette (Amico) Oris. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Michael Oris. 

Paul was a staple in banking in the Pittsburgh area for 35 years. He loved fishing, boating, Penn State, but most of all his family. He was always the life of the party and always had a dad joke ready. 

Paul is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mary Beth (Capezzuto) Oris; three children, Alicia (Louis) Cammiso, Paul (Megan) Oris, Kayla (Chris Ward) Oris; PapO to Millie, Lucy and Sage who he adored.  He is also survived by four siblings, Val (Brian) Yost, Elaine (Dave) Ross, Steve Oris and John Oris.   He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2024, at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., 3103 Lillian Ave., Murrysville, PA 15668. Parting prayers will be 9:45 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024, at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at Mother of Sorrows Church, 4202 Old William Penn Hwy, Murrysville.
