Phyllis Virginia Luther

Phyllis Virginia Luther, 70 of Murrysville, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at home. She was born October 5, 1955 in Silver City, New Mexico, daughter of the late Robert and Virginia Vitte Ganley. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald Paul Luther; and her twin brother, Phillip Ganley. She was a member of Mother of Sorrows Parish, Murrysville.

Phyllis worked for Jafra Cosmetics from 1979 until her passing. She loved Jafra and all the things it afforded her family and all the amazing people she had the privilege of working with for so many years, they were more than friends, they were family.

She is survived by her son, Christopher L. (Debra) Luther of Fox Chapel; three grandchildren, Christopher A. Luther, Noah Luther, and Colin Luther; a sister, Ellen Civiletto; and a brother, Robert “Jake” Ganley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
