Raymond L. Crane, 81, of Murrysville, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024. He was born September 6, 1943 in Honesdale, PA, son of the late Robert and Maybert (Arthur) Crane.
Ray was a longtime volunteer, usher, and sacristan minister at Mother of Sorrows Church in Murrysville. He took great pride in being a member of The Knights of Columbus, Manordale Valley Council #4226 and was also a member of the Export Moose. Ray enjoyed many years of exploring technology and camping with his family in his RV. He also loved spending time at home with his cats, Craig and Dasher. Raymond was a respected member of his community and a much loved member of his family.
Raymond is survived by two sons, Kenneth (Michelle) Crane and RJ (Susie) Crane; two grandchildren, Megan (Peyton) Harr and Michael Crane; and a daughter-in-law, Rose Crane.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville. Parting prayers will be held in the funeral home at 9 :45 a.m. on Thursday with a Funeral Mass at 10 :30 a.m. at Mother of Sorrows Church.
