Raymond "Ray" Ostronic

Raymond “Ray” Ostronic, 81, of Monroeville, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at his home. He was born August 30, 1939 in Pittsburgh, son of the late Edward and Margaret Rathke Ostronic. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Wally Ostronic.  Prior to retirement, he was an Electronics Technician for J & L Steel and also PPG Industries. Ray played trumpet in numerous bands around the Pittsburgh area. He will be missed by his beloved wife, Gladys Davis Ostronic; two sons, Kenneth (Clare) Ostronic and Roger (Camille) Shannon; three grandchildren, Nicole McMillen, Paul King, and Nicole King; three great-grandchildren, Mike, Tyler, and Cole; three brothers, Dan (Dot) Ostronic, Jim (Debbie) Ostronic, Jerry (Robin) Ostronic; and a sister, Mary Kay Tomb; numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. Visitation Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., Murrysville. Parting prayers will be held 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. John Baptist De La Salle Church, Delmont.
