Rebecca Ann (Franklin) Hampton

Rebecca “Becky” Ann Hampton, 73, of  Murrysville, PA,  passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023 at her home. She was born December 14, 1949, in Greensburg, daughter of the late Edmund and Rita (Boast) Franklin. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 50 years, Edward John Hampton.

She was a member of St. Marys, Lady of Our Lourdes Parish, in Export and also attended the Sister Church, St. John Baptist de La Salle in Delmont. Becky worked at Troutmann's in Greensburg, the University of Pittsburgh Ext., Westinghouse R & D Center, and at Wheelabrator-Frye in Pittsburgh. She enjoyed baking, knitting, crocheting, reading, hiking, card making and photography.

Becky is survived by her son, Edward S. (Lindsay) Hampton; two grandchildren, Sydney and Rory Hampton; a sister, Connie Graham; and a brother-in-law; George (Janice) Hampton. She is also survived by three nieces: Michelle, Marla, Renee; one nephew: Eric, and two grand nieces.
