Richard T. Yurick

Richard T. Yurick, 87, of Murrysville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 10, 2021.  He was born April 8, 1934 in Pleasant Unity, son of the late Thomas and Ann Depto Yurick. He was a graduate of Hurst High School where he excelled in baseball and basketball. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dr. Anna Marie Yurick; a brother, Joe Yurick; a sister, Ann Rusnak; and a brother-in-law, John Rusnak.  He is survived by a daughter, Carolyn (Myles) Greenberg; two sons, Rich (Jodi) Yurick, and Andy (Chindana) Yurick; ten grandchildren, Anna, Rebecca, Michele, Sadie, Calvin, Clay, Tara, Abby, Ella and Katelyn; He is also survived by sister-in-laws Dorothy (Eugene) Mizikar and Mary Lou Yurick, brother-in-laws A.J. Gera, Joe Gera, and Jerry Gera, and several nieces and nephews.  Prior to retirement, Richard worked as an accountant for the Elliott Company.  He was an Army Veteran and a member of Mother of Sorrow Church, Murrysville. Richard enjoyed and valued spending time with his family and friends.  Visitation Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville.  Additional visitation Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville with a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m.  A private Interment will follow.  Those wishing to attend are asked to keep with current COVID guidelines and social distancing.
