Richie Burdis

Richard J. “Richie” Burdis Jr., 53, of Murrysville, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, at Westmoreland Hospital.  He was born on June 9, 1972, in Pittsburgh, the son of Karen A (Stahl) Burdis and the late Richard J. Burdis Sr.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Leighann Koch.

Richie loved to work on cars and on computers, but his greatest love was his dogs.

He is survived by his mother, Karen A. (Stahl) Burdis of Murrysville; his sister, Michelle Azinger of Carnegie; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and a nephew.

Visitation for Richie will be on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 3 to 6:30 p.m. at Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville, followed by a funeral service at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Humane Society of Westmoreland County in Richie’s name.
