On June 7, 2022, Rita A. Ciaramitaro, formerly of Murrysville, passed on to a restful peace and is with her Savior, Our Lord Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Geraldine Muffolett and her husband, William Ciaramitaro.
She enjoyed music all of her life. First as a music teacher, then as a church organist and then as the Liturgical Music Director for Mother of Sorrows Parish and Immaculate Conception Parish. She kept busy by reading and doing crossword puzzles.
Rita is survived by her sons and daughter, Leo (Cynthia), Joseph (Megan) and Dominic (Renee) and Helen (Todd). In addition, she is also survived by her six grandchildren, William, Heather, Emily, Mary, Sarah, and Amelia. She is survived by a brother, Joseph Muffolett. She was loved by many friends in the area. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ALS Research Foundation at www.als.org
Visitation is from 2p.m. to 6p.m. Sunday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., Murrysville. Parting prayers will be 9:15 am Monday at the funeral home, followed by a 10am Mass at Mother of Sorrows Church. Interment will follow at Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. www.hartfuneralhomeinc.com
