Rita Ann (Kuth) Freuchtel

Rita Ann Freuchtel, 90 of Delmont, formerly of  Murrysville passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at St. Anne Home, Greensburg.  She was born September 25, 1930 in Turtle Creek, daughter of the late John and Julia Sullivan Kuth.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles “Sonny“ Freuchtel Jr.; and a sister, Catherine Carpenter.  Rita Ann was a member of Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville, where she was a lector for many years.  She volunteered for the Ladies Auxiliary and the Ladies Guild.  She also was a member of the Murrysville Garden Club and enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends. She is survived by three children, Monica (Lester) Trice of Greensburg; Charlotte (Dale) Steffey also of Greensburg; and Chuck (Susan) Freuchtel of Export; Six grandchildren, Melissa Morrison, Dina (Joe) Paulich, Jessica (Mike) Sciullo, Raymond Trice, Heather Costa, and Chad (Brittany) Freuchtel; 11 great-grandchildren, Amedio, Morgan, Damon, Landon, Carter, Addisyn, Giulianna, Logan, Lucas, Colt, and Cash.  She is also survived by a brother, Dr. John Kuth of Leechburg, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation Sunday, June 13, 2021 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville.  Additional visitation Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville with a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m.  Interment will follow in Plum Creek Cemetery.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anne Home, 685 Angela Dr. Greensburg, Pa 15601 in Rita Ann’s name.
