Robert John Straka

Robert John Straka, 73, of Murrysville, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Forbes Hospital, Monroeville.  He was born June 15, 1947 in Pittsburgh, son of the late Raymond and Doris Larson Straka.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, William (Madeline) Straka.  Prior to retirement, he was the owner of Able Pattern Company and was a veteran of the US Army.  Robert was a member of Mother of Sorrows Church, the Italian Club and was a member of the former Churchill Valley Country Club.  He is survived by his wife, Kathy Straka; a daughter, Allison (Nathan) Freed; a son Chris Straka; granddaughter, Genevieve; a brother, Edward (Bonnie) Straka and several nieces and nephews.  All services were private. www.hartfuneralhomeinc.com
