Robert Charles Verona

Robert Charles Verona, 92, of Murrysville, passed away on March 5, 2025, at Redstone Highlands in Greensburg.  Born October 2, 1932, he was the son of the late Michael Verona, and Julia (Chero) Verona.

After attending Saltsburg High School, Bob served his country during the Korean War.  He received his degree in Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh.  Bob went on to be the Vice President of construction for Crawford Homes and then managed Parkway Associates until his retirement in 2019.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Ida (Krushinski) Verona, his sons; Robert (Susan) Verona, Christopher Verona, and Michael (Korene) Verona, his beloved grandchildren; James Robert Verona, Olivia Jane Verona, Brooks Robert Verona, Paige Verona Behr, Bennett Michael Verona, Maci Hale Verona, Carter Daniel Verona, Christian Dover, Madison Dover, Colton Dover, and his great-grandson Steele.

Family was everything to Bob, he enjoyed family vacations at the Outer Banks, family dinners at Rizzo’s, anytime a grandchild would visit, and he also enjoyed attending all the sporting events of his sons and grandchildren.  Bob's family would like to extend special thanks to Redstone Home Health and Redstone Hospice.

Visitation for Bob will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., 3103 Lillian Avenue, Murrysville.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 7, 2025, at Mother of Sorrows Church.  ** Everyone please meet at the church. **   For online condolences, please visit www.hartfuneralhomeinc.com.
