Roger William Allen

Roger William Allen, 91, of Plum, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 8, 2021. He was born March 22, 1929 in Westbrook, Maine, son of the late William P. and Georgia Higgins Allen.  Roger served in the US Navy from 1950-1954. He was a graduate of the University of Maine with a degree in electrical engineering and retired from Westinghouse in 1993. Second only to his family, were Roger’s love of golf, football and dancing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Eva Frye Allen. Roger is survived by his wife, Stella Hardy-Cervone Allen; four children, Bruce (Pam) Allen, Michael (Jill) Allen, Spencer (Terri) Allen and Brenda (Alan) Gasper; and a stepson, Stephen Hardy. He is also survived by grandchildren, Kevin Allen, Jennifer (Brandon) Davies, Erin Allen, Lauren (Josh) Franz, Gretchen (Devin) Cowan, Ryan Allen, Sean (Emily) Allen, Caroline Allen, Sarah Allen, Sutton Gasper, Stephanie Hardy; five great grandchildren; and a sister Barbara Bell.  Visitation will be 10 to 11 AM, at which time a Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021 at Hart Funeral Home, Inc.
