Ronald Merle Beamer, 85, of Murrysville, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023, at his home. He was born July 27, 1937, in Murrysville, son of the late Phillip and Emma Belle Hill Beamer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary Beamer.
Ron was a 1955 Graduate of Franklin Regional High School and was a veteran of the Air Force, having served as an air frame electrician. He worked at National Cash Register Co. and retired from the Kiski Valley WPCA as a mechanic. He was a member of the Plum Creek/Monroeville Mason Lodge #799 for over 50 years. Ron was very active in Scouts. He was an Assistant Scout Master, then was Scout Master. He served on the District Committee, in Order of Arrow Wagion Lodge #6, was awarded the Scouter's Key, District Award of Merit, Silver Beaver and was a Vigil Honor. He also completed his Wood Badge Training. He was an avid woodworker, enjoyed lunch gatherings with his classmates and forever tinkered on the tractors.
Ron is survived by his wife of 58 years, Judy (Lafferty) Beamer; three sons, Kevin (Sandi) Beamer, Tim (May) Beamer and Brian (Janet) Beamer; eight grandchildren, Christopher, Emma, Leah, Trent, Brianna and Makayla Beamer, Owen and Katie Henderson; and a great-grandson, Ashton Beamer. He is also survived by a sister, Marie Watson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at HART FUNERAL HOME INC., Murrysville. A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Emmanuel Reformed United Church of Christ.
