Rosalie C. Lesser, 83, of Delmont, passed away peacefully December 2, 2025, at Saint Anne’s Home in Greensburg. She was born March 5, 1942, in Vandergrift, daughter of the late Domenic and Anna (Delia) Cristello. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Justin and Johnny.
Rosalie was a 1959 graduate of Vandergrift High School and attended the Robert Morris Business School for two years. She was employed by Gulf Research as an administrative assistant for many years and was also a church secretary for Emmanuel Lutheran Church and Mother of Sorrows Church in Murrysville. She retired from Weatherwood Manor, where she worked for many years.
Rosalie was a faithful member of Mother of Sorrows Church and an active member of the Ladies Guild. She was a dedicated choir member and was very active in many church activities.
Rosalie’s life was her family and friends. She is survived by many close cousins, her devoted Godson, David Purificato, and many dear and blessed friends. Visitation for Rosalie will be at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., Murrysville, Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., with a recitation of the Rosary at 3:30 p.m. Parting prayers will be held at the funeral home on December 10, 2025, at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Mother of Sorrows Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mother of Sorrows Church Outreach, or Saint Emma’s Monastery in Greensburg.
