Rose M. (Morozowich) Severini

Rose M. Severini, 91, of Watsontown, PA, formerly of Murrysville, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA. She was the beloved wife of Carl Severini for over 67 years. She was born August 30,1930, in Irwin, PA, daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine Jacyna Morozowich.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Steven Severini.

She was a member of Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville. After graduating from high school, Rose worked as a bookkeeper for the Millstein Company in Jeannette. During her many happy years of marriage, she loved family activities and holidays, relaxing at the farm in Indiana County, and traveling with Carl. She enjoyed gardening and antiques, especially collecting McCoy pottery and Barbie dolls. In her later years, she loved keeping in touch with new and old friends and relatives via email.

In addition to her husband, Rose is survived by four children, Susan Hibbard, Shirley (C.P.) Horn, Thomas (Karla Engel) Severini, Nancy (John) Marr; nine grandchildren, Allison Hibbard, Parker (Amanda) Hibbard, Audra (Cameron) Dezfulian, Katherine (Thomas) Hulley, Joseph, Anthony, Lisa, Maria and Valerie Severini; three great-grandchildren, Emily, Nicholas, and Michael. She is also survived by a sister, Mildred (Ray) Smith; a daughter-in-law, Debra Severini; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation is from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., Murrysville. Parting prayers will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville.
