Rose Marie Cook, 87, formerly of Murrysville, passed away February 18, 2023, at Greensburg Care Center. She was born May 22, 1935, daughter of the late Albert and Gertrude Gillespie in North Braddock, PA. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers James Gillespie and Albert "Snuffy" Gillespie; a daughter, Bobbi Lynn (David) Bedell; and a son-in-law, Roger Ireland.
Rose Marie enjoyed traveling, especially her trips to Ireland and Switzerland and her yearly trips to Florida. She was proud of her career as a Real Estate Agent in the eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh. Rose loved living in Murrysville, feeding "her" birds, working in her yard and spending time with friends and family.
Rose is survived by four children, Linda Ireland, Teresa (Scott) Perrin, Richard (Amy) Cook, and Rebecca (Allison) Kassebaum. Rose also had 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 9 to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., Murrysville, at which time Parting Prayers will be held at the funeral home.
