Sharon L. (Malone) Vance

Sharon L. Vance, 78, of Penn Township, passed away peacefully, Monday, November 6, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. Sharon was born May 9, 1945, in St. Louis, Missouri, daughter of McCager and Clara Ann (Ellis) Malone. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Helen Shockley. 

Sharon was a wonderful homemaker and loving mother and wife. She was an active member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Murrysville. She enjoyed singing in the church choir. She enjoyed going to S.N.A.P. and going on outings with her book club friends. She was deeply loved by all who knew her. She was known for her kindness and ability to befriend anyone. She never knew a stranger. Her sweet and loving heart made her a friend to all. 

Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, M.W. "Bill" Vance; her daughters, Beth (Chris McGurk) and Emily (Joseph) Macina; her grandchildren, Hannah, Cameron, Faith, Jacob, and Hailey; many close special friends especially Monica Lutz, as well as nieces Sara, Donna, Lynn; and nephews Steven and Michael. In addition to many cousins. Her amazing spirit and loving heart will be missed.

Hills Road, Murrysville. Visitation is from 6 to 8p.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2023, and from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Hart Funeral Home, Inc. Murrysville. A Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Friday, November 10, 2023, at the First Presbyterian Church of Murrysville. Please meet directly at the church. Interment will follow at Murrysville Cemetery.
