Stanley W. Mountain

Stanley W.Mountain, 79 of Level Green, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022.  He was born on December 11, 1943 in New Kensington, son of the late Jake W. and Edith A. Lape Mountain.  In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Lou Mountain; a son, Robert D. Mountain; two granddaughters, Brittnay and Amber Mountain; a sister, Dora Spielman; and a son-in-law, Adam Trosell.  Stanley graduated from Franklin Regional High School.  After graduation, he served our country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Navy.  Prior to retirement, he worked as a Technician and Repairman for Griffen Sales and Service.  Stanley was a member of the Mahaffey VFW and the Slickville American Legion.  He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Jerry) Hagerman and Denise Mountain; three grandsons, Jeremy, Jason, and Justin; and two granddaughters, Chenaniah and Cheyanne; two sisters, Peg (Harry) Ward and Edna (Ed) Hartman; and six great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Funeral services for Stanley were private with his family at the Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville.
