Theresa JoAnn (Morris) Dover

Theresa JoAnn Dover, 84 of Murrysville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, October 23, 2021.  She was born November 5, 1936 in Level Green, daughter of the late Joseph A. and Theresa H. Simola Morris.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles G. Dover in 1994; and a brother, John Morris.  Prior to retirement JoAnn worked in the kitchen at Kings Restaurant for over 25 years.  She was a long-time member of Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville where she volunteered by taking care of the Prayer Candles daily for many years.  She was affectionately known as the “Candle Lady”.  JoAnn is survived by her children, Charles J. (Denise) Dover, Mark (Kelly) Dover, Mary (Keith) Taylor, Alfred (Jackie) Dover, and Theresa (Thomas) Wright; 8 grandchildren, Chuck, Shane, Zachary, Sarah, Brenna, Allie, Anna, and Michael (Hanna).  She is also survived by a great-grandchild, Leo; a sister, Carol (John) Kapa; brother-in-law, Earl (Carole) Dover; sister-in-law, Vera Morris, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville.  Additional visitation Friday from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville with a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m.  Everyone please meet at church.  Interment will follow at Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
