Walter Charles Bard

Walter Charles Bard, 93, of Penn Township, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on July 3, 1932, in Wilkinsburg, the son of the late Clair L. and Jesse Bard. 

Walter is survived by his four children, Daniel (Beth) Bard, David (Kimberly) Bard, Terri (Kirk) Schierman, and Kelly Adams; his grandchildren, Chris (Brittany) Bard, DJ (Naomi) Bard, Brandon (Alexis) Bard, Michael (Floyd) Bard, Mark Bard, Sara (Kevin) Grooms, Racheal (Andrew) Shore, Ashley (Ken) Berletti, James Schiavone; and his great-grandchildren, Maddie, McKenzie, Kyler, Charlotte, Harper, Kilian, Destiny, and Paige.

Services will be private with Walter’s family.
