Wilbert H. Ferguson Jr.

Wilbert H. Ferguson Jr., 98, formerly of Murrysville, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022, at Hanna Health Center, Oakmont. Bill was born April 6, 1924, in Oklahoma City, OK, son of the late Wilbert Homer and Marjorie Looney Ferguson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Richard B. Ferguson in 1971 and a brother, Jack Ferguson. He was a veteran of the US Army, having served in the Pacific during WWII. Prior to retirement, he was an Electrical Engineer for Westinghouse. He served his community on Murrysville Council and the Board of JDMH.  He enjoyed swimming, gardening, woodworking and watching football.  Bill will be missed by his wife, Dorothy Johnston Ferguson; three children, Robert (Jan) Ferguson of Greensburg, James Ferguson of Rockbridge Baths VA, and Marjorie Ferguson of Groton, CT; seven grandchildren, Tom, Jill, Gracie, Laura, Sam, Tim, and Matt; three great grandchildren, Oscar, Emelia, and Marjorie. He is also survived by a sister, Ann Ball of Kansas City. Visitation is from 10 to 12 p.m. Friday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., Murrysville. Interment will follow at Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
