William C. Adams, Sr., 81, of Washington Twp, passed away peacefully, Monday, August 28, 2023, at his home. He was born August 26, 1942, in Braddock, son of the late Vincent and Hedwig (Pulnar) Adams.
He was a 1960 graduate of Braddock High School, then attended Penn State University. Prior to retirement, he was owner of Temperature Control Services. Bill was a hard worker and took great pride in his inventions. He was especially proud of his 1965 Shelby Cobra replica that took him three years to build. He was a very kind and generous man who enjoyed ballroom dancing and going to car cruises with his many friends.
Bill is survived by two sons, William Adams, Jr. and Jeffrey (Melissa) Adams; three grandchildren, Cassandra (Nicholas) Rohm, Alexis Adams and Joshua Adams; a sister, Monica Wojcik of Spartanburg, SC; several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his devoted best friend, Beth Meier, who loved and cared for him very dearly.
A Celebration of Bill’s life will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at his home on Saturday, September 23, 2023. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. For online condolences, please visit www.hartfuneralhomeinc.com.
