Joan Ann (Kitzer) Hoch

Joan Ann (Kitzer) Hoch, 83, of  Murrysville, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021, at her home. She was born December 3, 1937, in New Kensington, PA, daughter of the late Harry E. and Agnes R. Gordon Kitzer. She was a member of Mother of Sorrows Church in Murrysville and was an avid golfer at Willowbrook Country Club. Prior to retirement, she was a teacher for Gateway School District. Joan is survived by her husband of over 62 years, Leonard L. Hoch; children, Jeff Hoch, Kim Hoch, Chris (Kay) Hoch, Len (Jane) Hoch; grandsons, Lenny, Ben, Nick, Noah and Jacob Hoch; granddaughters, Anna, Kaitlin and Lily Hoch; a great-granddaughter, Ellie Rose Hoch; and a sister, Peggy (Dick) Bevevino. Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc. Murrysville. Parting prayers will be held 9:30 AM Tuesday in the funeral home followed by a 10 AM Funeral Mass at Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, New Kensington. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mother of Sorrows Food Bank.
