Robert F. Banze

Robert F. Banze, 94, of Murrysville, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Arden Courts of Monroeville. He was born October 4, 1927, in Pittsburgh, son of the late William and Helen Godsell Banze. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Jene F. Banze; a son, Richard K. Banze; a brother, James R. Banze; and a sister, Elizabeth J. Edwards.  He was a member of Mother of Sorrows Church in Murrysville and was a veteran of the US Army, having served during WWII. He was past Commander of the American Legion, Highland Park Post. Robert is survived by a son, Paul (Lynn) Banze; a daughter, Janet (Michael) Carter; a daughter-in-law, Marcie Banze; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three brothers, William, Arthur and Walter Banze; many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.  Visitation will be from 2 to 3:45p.m. Friday, November 19, 2021, at Hart Funeral Home 3103 Lillian Ave. Murrysville.
