Stanley “Sparky’ Kaczynski 82, of Murrysville, passed away in the comfort of his own home on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 surrounded by his family.  He was born April 19, 1935 in Pittsburgh, son of the late Alex and Josephine Wykretek Kaczynski.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Kaczynski in 2014.  He was a member and usher of Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville. Stanley is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Regina Hahn Kaczynski; three children, Donna (Steve) Cohen, Joanne Clark and David (Michelle) Kaczynski.  Stanley is also survived by twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  All generations spent their childhood years visiting and sharing his love for Kennywood Park.  In those years, He earned many nick names.  One being "Stan the Pitt Fall Man" when he started riding rides for each year of his life.  He rode the Pitt Fall up to 76 times in a row at 76 years old.  His latest feat, was riding the swing shot 81 times in a row at 81 years old.  Also known as "The Legend" of Kennywood, he not only left an impression on his family but everyone he met.  Even through his self-built, and now family run, window cleaning business "Stan the Window Man" continued to bring a smile to so many faces.  Visitation to share condolences and memories of "Sparky" with his family will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville from 12noon- 8p.m.  Additional visitation will be Monday from 9 – 9:45 a.m. at Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville where a funeral mass will follow at 10 a.m.  Entombment will be in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery, Pittsburgh.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at

You have my sincere.sympathy for your loss. I wish I could have met this great man! I enjoyed reading and hearing about his love and accomplishment at Kenneywood Park.
He is an inspiration for all of us. God Bless him! Heaven has gained another great one!
