I knew Dieter from tennis at Hilton Head. We played singles many times and I always appreciated Dieters composure and sportsmanship whether he won or lost. He was always a gentleman. I will miss his friendship this winter. Please remember I will be thinking of you in your time of sorrow.

We will sorely miss our long-time, good friend of more than 40 years, and we will always treasure our good times together with Dieter and Marga over these many years, even our memorable cross-country skiing adventures in the Laurel Mountains! Marga, Stephanie, and Michael and family, we grieve with you at the loss of your dear husband, father, and grandfather, and we pray that the good Lord will grant you all peace in good time. We also hope your regular trips to Hilton Head will continue in the future and that you will visit us here on Callawassie Island on those occasions.

Love and God's Blessings,
Tom and Carol Anderson

Our sympathies on the passing of Dieter. We met Dieter at Casey’s Sports Bar on Hilton Head Island while watching the Pittsburgh Penguin playoff games. We shared our love of the Pens and hockey. We always looked forward to seeing Dieter there. God bless him and his family and friends.

Dear Mrs. Bausch, Stephanie, Michael, and family,

I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Bausch. He was a very intelligent man who was very proud of his family. He always had a smile for me and took time to talk with me. I remember my dad used to seek out Mr. Bausch for help with some German language. I pray for peace for your family. With love,

Bernie
